Attached you will find a photo taken by my 
Grandfather Lt. Cmdr Edgar G. Chase, 
Executive Officer of the USS Meredith
 taken sometime in the late 30s.  
This is one of many pictures in his personal journals. 
 I also have some great pics taken aboard the Canopus 
too as well as several pictures of various crew memebers aboard at the time.
